Hello there, I have my kids tonight but I decided to get on here real quick. My meal prepping has been on hold until tomorrow, I hope. My mother made pupusas yesterday to celebrate my brothers birthday. Pupusas is a popular salvadorian dish. She also made chicken pasta salad that is covered in mayo which is not great for my diet. If you are salvadorian, pupusas are cooked occasionally, so you take advantage when someone in our family makes them. I had two pupusas, little bit of chicken pasta salad, chocolate raspberry cake, coke! I don’t drink soda ever! or I shouldn’t say ever, only when I go to the theater and I’m eating popcorn, or when it’s someone’s birthday and your mom makes pupusas. Only then! 😄 I feel like this weekend was crazy but I can also say there was a lot going on. If you follow my blog you kinda have an idea of my weekend, and if you don’t, well start reading! lol that’s a way to have you read my stuff huh.. Like everyone I’m human and I’m not perfect, but I’m not trying to be. I’m real, and I’m going to continue being me. The good thing about blogging is that it makes me realize what I need to continue doing. I enjoyed myself this weekend and now I gotta set my head straight! This morning I took my supplements, my green tea and some oatmeal. I also had coffee. For lunch I had left over shrimp and corn on the cob, which I’ll show you. It was not very filling but it was delicious! I walked outside of my work for 30 minutes. It was a hot day, maybe a little too hot but it got my heart pumping. I got home from a long day and my mother was making pupusas. I had two🤦🏽♀️. Tomorrow is a new day, I will go to Trader Joe’s and cook some meals for the rest of the week and hopefully get some cardio in. I’ll keep you posted!! Talk to you soon! ☮️&love 🤙🏽
